The brief

One English master → five language versions, including interactives.

The GENIE project (Generative AI for Inclusive Education and Empowerment) brings generative-AI training to adult learners across Europe. Its Moodle-based LMS — genie.crowdbeam.eu — carries the course in six languages: English, Lithuanian, Italian, Slovenian, Estonian, Polish. The consortium needed every language version to keep parity with the English master, including books, quizzes, H5P interactives and wiki pages.

What we built

The six phases, now productised.

  1. 01

    Structural sync

Target courses auto-match the English master module-for-module.

  2. 02

    Content backfill

Replace any scaffold chapters with real English content before translating.

  3. 03

    Deep scan

Find English content masquerading as translated, across hundreds of pages.

  4. 04

    Content translation

Batch-translated books, pages, labels with per-language terminology rules.

  5. 05

    Quiz + H5P translation

Quiz answers, H5P JSON — the parts competitors skip.

  6. 06

    Validation

Read-only sweep counts remaining English. Pipeline reruns until clean.
