Why these five first

The consortium we built this for taught us what matters.

Orthographically demanding

Lithuanian (ą, č, ę, ė, į, š, ų, ū, ž), Polish (ł, ń, ź), Estonian (õ, ä, ö, ü), Slovenian (č, š, ž). If the system handles these, it handles most of Europe.

Morphologically diverse

Estonian has 14 cases. Lithuanian has rich inflection. Italian is Indo-European compact. If the quality gate passes on these five, it passes anywhere.
